Who we are

Velstand Studio designs, builds and maintains websites for care providers in Texas. We are based in the Houston area. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Velstand Studio, and “the site” means velstandstudio.com.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we receive:

Your name and email address.
The name of your community, agency or program, if you add it.
The kind of care you provide, which you choose from a list.
Your message.
The page of the site you sent the form from.

When you email or call us, we receive what you choose to share, along with your email address or phone number.

When you browse the site, we collect information about how you use it. The section on Microsoft Clarity below explains how. Our hosting provider also handles the technical details needed to deliver each page, such as your IP address, your browser type and the pages you request.

Please leave out health information

This site is for questions about websites and marketing. Please do not send us health information about a resident, client, patient or family member. We do not need it to answer you.

How we use it

To reply to your inquiry and talk about a possible project.
To keep a record of our conversations with you.
To see which pages help visitors and fix the ones that do not.
To keep the site secure and working.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site. Clarity records clicks, scrolling and how you move through pages, and shows them to us as heatmaps and session replays. It uses first-party and third-party cookies and similar technology to do this. We set Clarity to hide what you type into the contact form, so replays do not show your entries.

We use what Clarity shows us to make the site clearer and easier to use. By using the site, you agree that we and Microsoft can collect and use this data. Microsoft’s own use of it is described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement at microsoft.com/privacy/privacystatement.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.

Who helps us

We use a small number of companies to run the site and our business:

Vercel hosts the site.
Velstand CRM, our customer relationship software, stores contact form inquiries. It runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States.
Zoho handles our email.
Microsoft Clarity measures how the site is used.
Calendly handles call bookings. If you book a call, Calendly’s own privacy policy covers what you enter there.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and emails for as long as we need them to reply to you and to keep normal business records. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

Tell you what information we hold about you.
Correct it.
Delete it.
Stop emailing you. You can also reply “stop” to any email from us.

Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), so what you send through the contact form is encrypted on its way to us. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we limit access to the people who need it to reply to you.
